Skins

You can download some of these skins using SVN Repo Installerxbmc-xbox-skins repository.

Project Mayhem III

Originally made by Chokemaniac as the next step after Project Mayhem 2, it was soon to replace the default skin that was inspired by Microsoft's Windows Media Center of the time to help XBMC get its own unique style and feel.

Confluence

Confluence is set to replace PM3.HD as the default XBMC skin for 9.11. It is a combination of many popular skins, and attempts to embrace and integrate good ideas rather than reinvent the wheel.

MediaStream_Redux

Jezz_X has been kind enough to announce the initial public release of his personal MediaStream mod, though the word \"mod\" hardly fits. It\'s more of a fresh and modern take on an already great skin; usability has been greatly improved and many of the new XBMC features have been added in.

Rapier

The goal is to provide a simple but elegant interface that emphasizes efficiency when browsing your media. Important considerations are put on usability, performance, and providing the user with flexibility when it comes to customization. Rapier supports the latest XBMC features and new ones will be added in the future as long as it fits in with Rapier’s design goals.

MC360

MC360 is a GUI skin for XBMC Media Player, available for Xbox 1, PC, Linux & MAC and is in no way useable on an Xbox 360. MC360 is an independant, non-profit, artistic impression created purely for fun. It is in no way connected to or endorsed by Microsoft, nor is it intended to undermine or compete with any existing or forthcoming material. MC360 is a tribute to the outstanding design which Russ Glaser of Microsoft and his team have painstakingly created, and is a deeply respectful tip of the hat.

Ellipsis

Ellipsis is a Graphical User Interface for XBMC Media Center, a media playback application available on Xbox, PC, Mac & Linux. Our aim with Ellipsis is to make the navigation and use of XBMC as user friendly as possible, so easy to use infact that a young child can use it just as easily as her grandmother can. Hopefully we have achieved this goal.

Transparency!

What is Transparency!? Short answer: a fanart skin. The main goal of Transparency! is showing your fanart, fullscreen, in all of the views, all of the time. Besides this, it also tries to support every neat new feature xbmc has to offer. To save everyone a lot of time and trouble hacking the xml code themselves, all of these new features are already included in the skin, pre-configured and enabled by default (wherever possible).

reFocus

reFocus is developed to provide a clean, easy to use interface for xbmc mediacenter where form and function are balanced as efficiently as possible, and by putting your media first and at the center of your mediacenter experience.

Night

Night started as a project for myself to learn skinning but quickly evolved into a full skin. It's main features include: TV Show Logos, Bigger Episode thumbs, more realistic 3D thumbs in some views, and keeping fanart complimentary rather than the focus. Amongst other features just a skin that tries to do things differently...

It is said a few times on the forums and I have tried another great skin by mcborzu: Night.
    Also a maintained XBOX version.
    Support topic: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?t=74412

Also maybe it is possible to add the support topics to all the mentoined skins so user will find their way to the forums more easy…

    Also:
Maybe it’s an idea to split the skins into 2 sections: SD (4:3 and smaller resolutions for images) and HD (16:9 and bigger resolutions for images)

    Night skin added.

I’m not much of a skin user, if you can provide the information, we could change the menu structure somehow to accommodate…

I have downloaded Alaska from http://code.google.com/p/xbmc-xbox-skins/ . I’m testing it and it seems to work fine.
